What we offer
Within the ART Deceleration & Steering we now have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a brake system mechatronics developer in the brake modulation HW group, who has the overall responsibility for the system selection, design, and verification.
At ART Deceleration we are responsible for hardware and software, and our work stretches from early phases to industrialization and launching new cars on the market.

Our main role is to develop hydraulics, mechanics, and electronics for the brake system to fulfill customer expectations.  We make impact on the customer’s experience of a premium car!

What you’ll do
You will work with realization of a safety system for next generation of highly automated electrical vehicles and be the CAE system designer to ensure and verify the functions and attributes needed. You will be the main contributor for the development of virtual tools to secure the concepts for future braking systems and explore and define new methodologies to fasten the development loops improving the system verification focusing on the fidelity and integration of MiL, SiL and HiL.  Nevertheless, the team supports the development of foundation brakes through additional CAE environments.

You will be working in a cross functional team with agile processes and tools and you will lead collaboration with other teams, external partners (Universities, industrial consortiums) and suppliers. The team is responsible for the implementation and quality assurance of brake system. Team tasks include:
* Conceptualize, demonstrate, and integrate new virtual methodologies for brake system and foundation brake sizing.
* Select concepts and suppliers according to the platform and vehicle targets. 
* Breakdown of complete vehicle attribute requirements to system level and own and ensure fulfillment of all system requirements.
* Ensure the industrialization of the component according to the project milestones.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have a master’s degree in mechanical, automotive engineering or controls and systems and you are passionate about cars and chassis systems.
You have the competence and learning ability when it comes to develop virtual analysis tools for system engineering and the forward thinking to understand future needs and draw conclusions from simulation and real-world data analysis.

Ideally you developed between 2 -5 years of experience in vehicle dynamics, XiL tools and development of one of the chassis systems for passenger cars.  As a person you are positive with a high motivation level and a never give-up attitude. You have a strong sense of urgency and flexibility with prioritization. Tools knowledge includes: Matlab/Simulink, Python

Meritorious
•    Knowledge of additional CAE tools like multibody or structural simulations. 
•    Academic experience through a PhD or a research assignment 
•    AMESim/Dymola, ADAMS, Abaqus, Star CCM+ or equivalent
