Fullstack developer / DevOps

Your Background

We would like to see you with a master degree in engineering, IT or similar, but that is not a must for the right person, and you should have at least 5 years of previous work experience with a proficient knowledge of python and Java programming. As a fullstack software engineer, you must have prior knowledge and experience of in-house developed software applications, to be involved in software releases as well as maintenance and development work of build environment and quality assurance tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Developer and Integrate software applications
• Maintain and develop build environment infrastructure
• Refine, scale, and automate the software deployment pipeline
• Modify and develop quality assurance tools and other tools used
• Standardize and automate the setup of production and development environments
• Implement/improve current application monitoring system
• Discuss technical solutions with suppliers (internally/ externally)
• Support technical investigations and task force activities
• Coaching other developers for methodology and way of work

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. grade within computer science, engineering, or equivalent level of education
• At least 5 years previous relevant work experience
• Experience with Python, Java, Shell Script, C/C++, Golang
• Experience with source control tools such as Git (and corresponding services like GitHub or GitLab)
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
• Knowledge/experience with automated provisioning tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
• Experience with Jenkins, GitlabCI or similar CI tools
• Experience with Frontend development, can take over code base in Javascript, familiar with Frameworks e.g. VUE, React.
• Database knowledge such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongDB, Redis
• Messaging Queue such as RabbitMQ
• Fluent in English in both speech and writing

Meritorious Qualification

• Experience from software integration, design and development
• High level architect knowledge, cloud based microservices would be a plus
• Experience with formal software development processes, such as Kanban and Scrum, can perform as a Scrum Master in case needed
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure architecture and deployment strategies
