Android Software Developer / Analyzer

We are working on a next generation car platform for one of the most well-known european car brands. We are fully responsible for design and implementation for several key system components.

Assignment description:

We are hiring an Android Software Developer / Analyzer to work at one of our clients within the Automotive industry. The resources will work within a cross functional agile team and focus on the development, analyzing issues and fault tracing speech related of the in-vehicle software and supporting systems.

All SW development is developed in-house at our clients offices. As for voice interaction we integrate Google Automotive Services (GAS) into the system and we are now looking for persons to reinforce the speech team. The main task is to analyze issues within the complete audio chain, correct issues and improve the quality of the Google assistant experience. The persons need to be experienced in Android framework to be able to dig into the technical details of the speech system.

Main responsibilities will be:

- Software development and analysis in the Android stack for the infotainment system
- Development using Java, C++ and the Android tool set

Requirements:

- M.Sc in Software Engineering or similar relevant experience
- At least 3 years of software development in Java and/or C++ in an Linux environment
- Experience in developing automated unit or integration test in C++/Java or Python.
- Person should have good understanding of app development but also some inclination towards platform . Personal projects on different hardware such as raspberry pie would be plus.
- Good English skill (written and spoken)
