QA Engineer

MiCloud Connect and MiVoice MX-ONE are Mitel’s global UC platforms for cloud and on-prem deployment. We are now looking for a skilled Software QA developer to join our international team.

You will, together with our development teams, ensure we are working to deliver high-quality products. you will contribute to our automation efforts by collaboratively identifying areas suitable for testing, designing scripts and implement these using our existing framework and tools. You will also improve the existing test methods and open up new capabilities for the entire team. You will have an impact on the design of our test methodology, setting our processes for how and what we test.

The role also includes actively participating in different phases of the development and striving to find ways to add or improve our QA-processes both within and outside the team.

Overview:

• Creating and running automated and manual tests
• Making sure our releases fulfill our and our customers’ quality expectations
• Have a good overview and keep yourself updated with the available frameworks, tools, and patterns that help you succeed in your work

Responsibilities:

• At least bachelor degree in Programming, Computer Science or similar
• Professional experience as a QA engineer in software development
• Strong experience in API test automation
• Experience working collaboratively with team members on a common codebase using version control tools (Git)
• 1+ years of experience with Robot Framework or similar test automation framework
• Experience with Python
• Understand software development processes, continuous integration and build systems
• Strong experience in manual testing, test organization, test execution and reporting
• Knowledge of Cloud concepts and deployments
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Experience of working in Scrum
• Fluent in English
• QA lead experience is a strong advantage
