We are now looking for a BI Developer to join our Data team at our office in Stockholm.

What is Hive Data?

Hive Data Team, focusing on the foundation of core business data and big data catering for delivering both great products including analytics and insights. Our team of data engineers takes care of our data architecture and and big data platform including business data providing with valuable insights to customers, both internal and external. We are responsible for continuous data ingestion to the data lake, business data structures and Hive internal BI Reporting and Analysis. Data is our big asset for building valuable future products for our different product lines.

Working as a BI Developer

You will be key player in powering the next generation of Hive data products! You will thereby play a major part in shaping the future of Hive's big data platform and as a BI Developer at Hive, you will also work hands on with Sql DW/DB when doing BI Reporting and Analysis.

You will...

- setting business requirements for BI tools;
- translating business requirements into technical ones;
- leading BI software development, deployment, and maintenance;
- report curation and data modeling;
- participation in data warehouse design;
- documenting contents in a data warehouse and meta-data storage; and
- creating technical documentation for BI tools.

We would like for you to have:

- Expereience of pipeline and ETL orchestration with cloud technologies (ADF is preferred)
- Hands-on Sql DW/DB expeience, low-level skills such as - Dimensional Modelling: Star and Snowflake Schema
- Table Indexing/Partitioning
- Good SQL knowledge

- Previous experience of Power BI
- Good knowledge of Dax
- PBI Semantic layer modelling
- Understanding from AAS and tabular models
- Databricks and scala from the high level (also sql api)- or other big data processing experience (TB scale)
- Version control experience and testing frameworks (data quality tests, stress tests..)
