QA Engineer

Do you want to ensure high-quality deliveries throughout the whole development process and all the way to production? We’re looking for a QA Engineer for a 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension. You will implement manual tests and test automation based on the existing test process and framework. You will also identify performance and automation opportunities for products together with teams and develop exploratory and automated tests when needed.

We’re working quickly to get ahead in the Fin-Tech area but we’re careful to take time and follow best practice for the features we put in production. At Qliro you will:

- Contribute to development teams by building a quality-driven culture that helps ship products rapidly with good confidence
- Review and examine the overall quality of products and guide development team(s) on how to continuously improve
- Provide input and feedback to ensure that developers write good quality tests (and maintain a good test coverage).
- Ensure that all tests are maintainable over the long term (best practices).
- Evaluate possible tools, libraries and implementations that can be used to increase the general quality assurance and testing confidence.

This is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension.

We believe that you have:

- Education in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Knowledge in testing and debugging web or mobile applications.
- Knowledge in various frameworks and tools like Cypress, JavaScript, Cucumber, Rest API, Postman/SoapUI, Git, Jira etc.
- Understanding and preferably hands-on experience of both automated and manual tests, test frameworks, test planning, test designing and execution.
- Familiarity with agile work environment, working with Scrum, Kanban and other associated support processes
- Knowledge or experience in testing processes such as TDD or BDD and software development life cycle in general.
- Understanding the concept of CI/CD process
