Senior Cloud Developer

The position
We are now looking for Senior Cloud Developers who see the big picture when it comes to AWS platform scalability. This crucial role will give you a rare opportunity to design and build a next generation AWS platform. Your work will help ensure Viaplay can scale over the next 5 to 10 years.

The journey ahead
With your experience you will help to lead the next generation platform and delivery solutions. Some of your daily challenges will include: 

- Design and build our next generation cloud platform.
- Mentor others in scalability practices.
- Work closely with other teams to understand their workloads.
- Support, maintain and document Cloud solutions.

What we are looking for
Candidates should have demonstrable experience in the following areas:    

- Cloud experience: 3+ years required; 5+ years preferred.
- Proven experience scaling cloud platforms.
- Deep understanding of AWS Solutions.
- Strong Python skills.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code.

Bonus experiences that will make you stand out from the rest:  

- Show previous experience scaling container management.
- AWS Certified (Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking).
- Technical Leadership / Mentoring within a team.
