Software Engineer/Tech lead

We are looking for a highly driven Software Engineer with architectural/tech lead focus to take part of our transformation journey as we take the next steps in improving our way how our customers communicate with us.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Be the technical lead for a development team that builds core communication services.
- Be a speaking partner with stakeholders and management and collaborate on design decisions with our product owner, UX and your developer colleagues.
- Play an important role for the bank by creating new ways for our customers to communicate with us.
- Develop client/server solutions in the internet bank using Java, REST, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular/AngularJS and to create the best possible user experience.
- Be at the front edge regarding new technology and working methods. Our area is characterized by high business demand, speed and continuous development.
- Make an impact and create great value for our end customers and work with competent and ambitious colleagues.
- Act as a subject matter expert and partner for the supplier in designing future solutions to be implemented. The new partner will be an extension of our team and for you as the Software Engineer the main enabler.

What is needed in this role:
- A Software Engineer that is willing to take lead in creating and managing our detailed architecture and define our technical solutions within our area.
- With an architectural focus you will develop and maintain the business and IT architecture for the area in harmony with the Swedbank Target Architecture.
- Academic degree in engineering, computer science or any other relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
- You must be structured and able to prioritize and feel comfortable with taking own initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with the other roles in the cross functional team.
- An ability to set goals and achieve them by thinking outside the box.
- A passion for new technologies and digitalization
- It's an advantage if you have experience as a lead engineer and experience working with Micro services
