Software Engineer - Database Infrastructure

Siri AB is a consulting company offering IT and product development services since 2011 with offices in Malmö, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Düsseldorf (Germany) and Hyderabad(India).

We are looking for multiple Database Infrastructure Engineers for our customer projects.

In general the Infrastructure Engineer works closely with the global support team to ensure the best possible database delivery. You will be in close interaction with business representatives to capture new requirements, develop and deliver solutions to ensure that a reliable, consistent level of service is available to IT service consumers. You are responsible for the database environment globally and be supported by global specialists and operations teams.

As a Database Infrastructure Engineer you will contribute to the establishment of an automation framework for our infrastructure service delivery. You bring expertise to codify and manage underlying IT infrastructure as software (programmable or software-defined infrastructure). You will help our customers to build new iterations of our their infrastructure stack. Our customers are operate globally and across multiple public cloud providers. You will collaborate with other team members to design, build, and test new architectural patterns while supporting our growing application teams and to accelerate our path to private cloud.

With an always-on mindset and high sense of urgency, you will be assisting departments globally (Engineering, Operation & Maintenance) in designing, configuring and managing solutions for their devices, tools, and applications.

Requirements :

• 5 years of working knowledge of Oracle, SQL and Open source databases.
• Experience and knowledge about large hyper-scale and their services.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure or other public cloud management and architecture design.
• Expereince in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning of infrastructure.
• Experience of cloud-native databases such as Cosmos DB and MongoDB.
• Agile development experiences and practices.
• Experience of using collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps or alike.
