Data Domain Lead

• Proficient in Python, R or equivalent coding language
• Direct experience in building data assets for client service and client development

• Proven leadership record in leading small to mid-sized teams

Who you’ll work with:

As clients and the Firm’s capabilities become more technology and data enabled, we have tripled the number of external data partners we work with and are constantly scanning the market for new innovative external datasets that complement and bring a new dimension of insight to our recommendations.

We are looking for an self-starter to become the Firm’s expert on understanding a business outside of our client’s own data and multiplying the impact we bring as a Firm through client service and assets.

This role has a global remit and will work closely with senior leadership from CubeTech Data, EKS, Alliances and Acquisitions, CCN, practice Data Leaders, Legal and Risk.

What you’ll do:

You will work with our Data Innovation Leads to showcase “Art of the Possible” with business scraped data and prioritize data asset opportunities. You will lead data sprints and asset builds with cells in partnership with Launch; Build and maintain business scraped sources; Evaluate, build and scale a centralized web scraping service for use across the Firm.

You will help to grow a service line to help teams and assets access external data in a self-serve fashion. You will help mitigate any risks associated with acquiring, storing and using business scraped data as part of our client service.

You will be responsible for regularly identify and evaluate providers of innovative datasets to expand the Firm’s external data ecosystem. You will advise clients and teams on building a best-in-class external data lake and the relative advantages of one data source over another.

You will form collaborative relationships with vendors and jointly support our clients to explore the value of external data. You will be responsible to codify vendors, use cases, success stories and code snippets in the Firm Data Cataloge.

You will help to innovate, working with cells to identify, scope, build and fund new central data assets to support client work at scale.
