Therefore; Barnebys decided to start a platform where people have access to all art and antiques in one place.

Their Swedish site was launched in the fall of 2011, and just a couple of months later, the lion's share of the Scandinavian houses were affiliated with Barnebys and just a click away. Barnebys has come a long way since, and they are now in the US, UK, France, Spain, Germany and Italy. Barnebys are positive that their concept, where the auction house and dealers are at the forefront and maintain their customer relationship, will remain a success.

Arbetsuppgifter:

Responsibilites:
In the position as Senior Backend Engineer you will be a part of the Barnebys Skeleton team, where you will be working on building and maintaining their White Label Auction System, which is a SAAS-solution and enables Barnebys customers to run auctions and stores with a world class user experience. Skeleton is built with the goal to be the best solution for auction houses, galleries, and dealers in the world and you will play a crucial part in that journey. The Skeleton system is built both using .NET/C# and ReactJS, Node and NextJS for various parts of the solution.

Your primary duties will include to contribute with senior experience to planning, designing, and building elegant solutions, by writing testable, maintainable, and scalable code. Furthermore, you will monitor, test, and optimize Barnebys infrastructure and software design. Finally, you will work with troubleshooting and handling bugfixes within the platform.

You will work together in a team of four other developers in a cross functional and international team. The team is focused on delivering a premium experience to end users and customers.

Utbildning, Erfarenhet och personliga egenskaper:

Experience:
• 5 years’ experience working as a backend developer with focus on- and strong knowledge .Net and C#
• Experience working with and knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience working with auction or e-commerce domains is a huge plus
• Excellent communication skills in English
