PDU Cloud RAN

At Business Unit Networks we seek to work closely with our customers, to deliver virtualized RAN solutions. We are building a full stack virtualization of the 5G vCU (Virtual Central Unit) and vDU (Virtual Distributed Unit) based on COTS HW and cloud-native technologies.

We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge established flows with new methodologies, are active in the open-source communities, and embrace a start-up mentality to deliver a product with outstanding customer experience.

Are you Interested?

Excellent! We are looking for a Senior System Developer to join our vCU team.

You will

• Work with product and feature development delivering microservices for the Cloud RAN vCU PP (Packet processing area) product

• Develop software with an E2E view of the development

• Test microservices and support when used in different deployments

• Adapt cloud native technology and principles

• Work with canary deployment

• Prototype

• Keep updated with customers needs and our roadmap for the product

To be successful in the role you must have

• Experience working with Cloud Native product principles (microservices, containers), pods is an excellent asset

• Experience in architecture work for Cloud Native products is also an outstanding asset

• MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge

• Experience in any of the following areas – AI and Machine Learning, Virtualization, development of microservices

• Programming skills in object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++. Other programming languages are highly valuable as well

• An innovative mindset

• Solid communicating skills

• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills

• Proficient in English
