Software Developer

We at Marley Spoon, a successful, well-funded meal kit company are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our completely new production integration and data management team (PIDM). The team (3 - 5 engineers) will build a data integration application from scratch for our fulfillment centers that will be collecting, aggregating, distributing and leveraging near real time data. Our engineering fulfillment teams are instrumental in delivering on our customer promise in procuring, producing and delivering our meal kits in time and quality.

Requirements:

Together with your team and the team's product manager you will start building the first version of our new production integration and data management application (PIDM) to then constantly improve and evolve it

Write testable and readable code, that runs fast and reliably

Shape the future of our backend architecture keeping scalability in mind

Work closely with the other teams and your teammates to arrive at the best possible feature implementation.

This is you:

You are passionate about coding and have good experience in building (preferably data-heavy) applications

You are good in technical design and you have experience in structuring your own and others work in a methodological way

You have experience from balancing delivery speed with quality and maintainability needs

You enjoy working in an agile environment

We are a collaborative, lean team so you need to be a proactive, team playing selfstarter that understands that asking for help is not a sign of weakness but often the only way to move things forward

You accept the fact that the only constant in life is change and happy to work in a dynamic environment.
