About the team

As part of R&D you will be part of the pounding heart of Qlik. An organization that covers a wide range of technical fields and disciplines, all focused on the constant improvement of the Qlik product line. A place where we take decisions, together.

As part of the Qlik Sense Client Managed group you will be part of a team focusing on delivering high-quality software with engaged team members. We are now looking for a Software Engineer to join our Qlik Sense Client Managed team. We’re a full-stack team responsible for key components for the client-managed deployment of our biggest product, Qlik Sense, with several thousands of customers benefiting from our code.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Actively contribute to the success of customers and experiencing the direct positive impact your work has for customers.
• Understand large software systems interact, identify solutions for improvements and implement those.
• Being a highly valued member of a great team that value teamwork for results.
• Work cooperatively with team members with code reviews, troubleshooting and implementation.
• Provide and receive technical mentoring and coaching of other team members.
• Communicate and collaborate with developers and architects across the organization.

Competencies and skills:

The skills and qualifications required for this role:

• Solid experience with developing backend services in C#/.Net.
• Knowledge about Entity Framework and SQL
• General knowledge of JavaScript is a plus, the team is a full-stack team.
• Competence to understand existing code and identify solutions for further improvements and functionality.
• Prioritize simplicity and testability when writing code
• Effective in a collaborative environment

Experience & Qualifications

Desired experience with a successful track record in one or more of the following areas:

• Fluency in English.
• 5+ years of experience from working with C#/.Net as a software developer.
• General knowledge of JavaScript.
• Passion for quality and customer success.

Relevant University degree
