Who are we:
We are dedicated team with experienced and highly engaged team members located both in Skövde, Sweden and Bangalore, India. The team has a maintenance responsibility of inhouse developed applications within the Internal Logistics area for Volvo GTO. The systems are globally appointed and are an important part of the Volvo global IT system landscape. Our team has an interesting mix of work tasks such as development, technical updates, end user support, problem solving and performance improvements which provides great opportunities to grow in different areas. Our applications are mainly developed in .NET and Angular technologies but we are on an interesting journey to become a true data driven company with a solidified IT architecture where our products will make a difference. In our daily work we have a close collaboration with our stakeholders all over the world. As a team, we work close together, support each other and respect each other’s differences. This is how you could make an impact:
By joining our team, you will work with development as well as troubleshooting current issues. The day-to-day work will include tasks such as development, quality assurance, maintenance and support. You will be an important part in securing the internal logistics in the Volvo factories around the world and also be part on the digital transformation journey with great opportunities to learn and work with new technologies where we welcome and encourage new ideas and ways of working.

Your Profile:
- A university degree in Computer science or similar
- Good knowledge in both front-end and back-end development (full stack)
- Strong experience within .NET platform, C#, ORM such as NHibernate or Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server (SQL tuning and performance optimization)
- Value add: DevOps engineering practices, IBM WebSphere MQ, NET Core, Python, Javascript, Databricks and other Azure technologies.
- A mindset for Continuous improvement, team work and collaboration
- Self-developing attitude and interested in contributing to the teams development
- Have a passion for the end user and understanding their frustration and business opportunities
- Navigate with ease in a multi-cultural, distributed environment and actively cooperate with various stakeholders
- Good communication skills in both English and Swedish, written and verbally
