ABOUT THE ROLE

You will join the newly established Data and Analytics team and have a central role in building the infrastructure to improve the analytics initiatives. Your responsibilities will be to take ownership of the components to deliver robust, insightful and real-time analytics to the end-users. You will be working and expanding our tech-stack built on AWS using tools such as Kubernetes, Postgres, RabitMQ, Snowflake and CircleCI.

Tasks:

- Design, implement and build pipelines that deliver data with measurable quality under the SLA.
- Partner with domain experts, data analysts and other Teams to build foundational data sets that are trusted, well understood and aligned with business initiatives.
- Take responsibility for documenting data pipelines and data lineage.
- Building out the machine learning infrastructure as well as building and deploying models.

YOUR PROFILE

We are seeking an individual who wants to play an instrumental part in supporting our business growth and take a lot of responsibility.

Own: Shape and improve our technical architecture to deliver qualitative data and metrics to our SaaS platform, used by customers for insights and decision making. Proactively make decisions on what data to collected and use.

Teach: How to apply best practices when it comes to data engineering, including pipelines, data lineage, documentation and scaling data services.

Learn: Our service architecture and deployment workflows. How information is collected, captured and utilized to generate value. Efficient architecture for real-time inference.

Skills and qualifications:

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in data management disciplines, including data integration, data modeling, optimization and data quality.
- Experience in working on multiple areas including but not limited to ETL, Data modeling & design, writing complex SQL queries etc.
- Hands-on experience with Data Warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Redshift)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (mainly Python).
