Tens of millions of small businesses worldwide are still being underserved by the traditional players. By giving small businesses the tools to get paid, sell smarter and grow, we’re empowering them to reach their full potential. Together with PayPal, we can reach 24 million merchants across the world with more of the affordable tools they need to thrive. Part of our Point of Sale Alliance, the core mission of the Order Team is to help our merchants sell products and services in whatever way best fits their business needs.

In this role, you will get the opportunity to closely collaborate with Client developers in order to create a tailored API and user experience for our merchants, as well as with backend developers in charge of developing a robust end-to-end solution catered to our user's needs. • Experiment and learn about design, technology and processes;

• Ensure a high level of quality, usability and maintainability of the reusable components and code.

The traits you need to exceed

We believe that you are a great teammate known for your ability to take and solve technical challenges for a common purpose. Grounded and humble, you naturally share your knowledge, experience and opinions without ever losing sight of the importance for everyone to have a chance to contribute to the team's success. Lastly, you make it fun.

• Programming in Java with modern frameworks as Dropwizard or Spring Boot.

• SQL databases as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases as Cassandra.

• An expertise in designing and maintaining Libraries/APIs for external users;
