As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, we are looking for an innovative Android Developer with a great deal of drive and an Agile mindset to join our Learn & Develop (L&D) Business Area.
In this role, you will be part of a brilliant cross-functional team having for mission to provide valuable learnings to our sellers in order to help them steer their business in the desired direction.
A Glimpse Of What You Will Get Here
Simply stated, our team's day-to-day essentially consists in developing hassle-free solutions enabling merchants from all around the world to grow their businesses to a whole new level. In this spirit, as a member of our team and Zettle's Android chapter, you will notably:
- Design, implement, debug and maintain services with a high degree of autonomy.
- Closely collaborate with product managers, developers, designers and QA engineers.
- Tackle a wide range of technical challenges together with bright peers in cross-functional agile team, experiments and learn about design, technology and processes.
The Skills To Succeed
- Good experience in Kotlin and Java (Rx framework)
- Good knowledge of tools Android studio, Gradle, GitHub etc.
- Good understanding of product development, underlying system architecture and user requirements.
- Solid understanding of parallel and concurrent code, and how to handle asynchronous behaviours.
- Experience wit Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) including writing UI tests.

- You are interested in keeping up-up-date with the latest technological development.
- You have good communication skills and feel at ease understanding and discussing product requirements.
- You are a strong collaborator and comfortable working in an agile environment.
- You are comfortable with interacting with external partners.
- You are interested in understanding the full domain and other platforms which might not be your area of expertise.
