As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, our Run Your Business Area is growing and is now looking for an Android Developer with a great deal of experience and a truly Agile mindset to join our journey.

In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team and get the opportunity to co-tackle a wide variety of challenges together with a group of talented people driven by a shared ambition to create hassle-free solutions for our sellers.

Simply stated, your day-to-day responsibilities will essentially consist in:

• Designing, implementing, debugging and maintaining services with a high degree of autonomy.
• Working closely with product managers, developers, designers and QA engineers.
• Tackling complex technical challenges together with a crowd of innovative minds in Agile team, experimenting and learning about design, technology and processes.

The skills & experience to succeed

While your peers will always be here to support you, the following skills and know-how can help you to be successful:

• Expertise in Java and Kotlin.
• Familiarity with tools like git, gradle, lint, Android studio etc.
• Solid understanding of product development, underlying system architecture and user requirements.
• Experience of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
• Great collaboration skills and experience working in an Agile environment as well as interacting with external partners.
• A strong working understanding of parallel and concurrent code, and how to handle asynchronous behaviours.

And also...

• Good communication skills especially for understanding and discussing product requirements.
• A positive attitude and being keen to learn new things outside the ordinary domain.
