Who is your future team?
At Axis in Linköping we work in small teams where all team members share and collaborate on all the tasks of a software team. To facilitate this, we are believers in methods that encourage that you are never alone when coding or performing other tasks. Examples of methods used today are mob- and pair programming.
We take design seriously!
To accomplish this, we collaborate with our users, product managers, engineers, and data analysts. We conduct research to identify customer needs, produce wireframes, prototypes, and refine designs based on data and user feedback. We actively engage with our design organization, collaborating with other designers to maintain design consistency and cohesiveness across different platforms and products.
Our newly formed UX alignment team will focus on bringing a uniform Axis experience to all software platforms. We are looking for a skilled UX/UI designer who is ready to take on the task of crafting these experiences and becoming a key player in making the Axis UI alignment strategy come true.
What will you do as Full stack developer at Axis Linköping?
The responsibilities of the role include:

Being an essential part of a cross-functional team solving user needs with global impact
*
Knowledge in leading and managing all aspects of Digital Product UX Design
*
Working closely with Front End developers to determine the best controls and inputs to support UI features for fluid and consistent user experience
*
Creating functional prototypes of UI features to ensure a high-quality user flow in our products
*
Working with the engineering teams to implement the user experiences
*
Communicating designs for implementation on a technical level
*
Crafting solid UI and UX specifications and documentation as well as collaborating with the art and design team creating visual cues, UI patterns and style guides
*
Learning new things - We are constantly looking for new solutions, services, and opportunities to make ourselves better and more efficient as teams and individuals.

We are looking for a committed designer who wants to work in a cross-functional team to create solutions that make things easier and better for our end users.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
*
5+ years of practical UX/UI design experience in web-related projects with a technical incline
*
Proven skill set in designing fun/effective wireframes and interactions, user flows and prototypes
*
Solid understanding of interaction/graphic design fundamentals
*
Well versed in articulating, rationalizing, and emphasizing the end-users needs
*
An adaptable and quick learner - Whether it's a new prototyping tool, design process, or game engine
*
Understanding of agile/lean UX concepts and the ability to work within a continuous flow environment - Ability to think holistically while building and learning iteratively
*
Profound knowledge of interaction design and user behavior
What does Axis offer?
At Axis in Linköping we work according to methods and principles established in software development in recent years, such as Lean, DevOps and agile variants. The office is situated in Vallastaden Linköping and by the end of 2021 we will be moving to our newly built office in Ebbepark, where we have the space and prerequisites to continue growing.
