Solution Architect

Moving from a traditional truck manufacturer to a software driven transport solution provider we need more people to join us on our journey. Our industry is changing and now it´s starting to change fast. In a near future Scania will not only be a truck & bus manufacturer but a provider of an ecosystem of products & services, all with the customer and sustainability in focus. We are now looking for a new Solution Architect to join us in this journey!  

Your responsibilities as Solution Architect  

• Work with global solutions within Scania's Service Delivery process.  
• You will be responsible for driving and keeping together the IT architecture for Scania's part application area.  
• Work tightly with key functions in our new global SAP solution within the spare parts area. 
• Ensure reuse of functionality and ensure compliance with company-wide architectural principles and guidelines on standards in technical architecture.  
• Together with other architects and our development teams ensure that the solutions are resilient and allow for change, evolution and scale.  
• You will enter into ongoing and new projects and gradually become globally responsible for the IT architecture for the spare part area.  
• Lead architecture work in ongoing projects and line organization initiatives interacting with e.g. Developers, Testers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Project Managers, Scania IT Security experts, IT architects and propose architectural solutions to various IT-related issues such as information management, integrations, and migration approaches. 

Your Profile as Solution Architect  

You have a good ability to visualize and develop sustainable technical cloud solutions that meet business requirements in accordance with Scania IT's guidelines and technical platform. you are also able to produce different architectural diagrams on different levels and to present and write technical documentation in English for a technical as well as a non-technical audience. 

The right candidate understands the different integration techniques such as API and Streaming and understands when certain integration patterns should be applied in an enterprise environment. It is important that you have technical expertise that extends to different business areas and Comprehensive knowledge of architecture development for cloud and on-premises. You have good communication skills and the ability for a holistic view.   

Merited skills 

• Experience with SAP and AWS, and have deep and broad knowledge in IT and technology.  
• Supply chain knowledge.  
• Experience in the tool EA Sparx, UML, and Information Modeling is important for the life cycle of sustainable solutions.
