Responsibilities

As a Backend Java Developer at Dun and Bradstreet you will be a part of an global agile tech organization and work together with our developers who have great responsibility to participate and drive our products and services forward with high-end technology and customer experience. We work in product teams, in short sprints and with Continuous Deployment. We also work cross functional and cooperative across all the organization to manage and move towards our technical vision and platform to align in the future.

For this role you will join Team Ninjas - an experienced and high performing team working with credit data and credit applications based in Frösunda, Stockholm. The team consists of 4 developers (you will be our 5th) supported by an agile product owner, product manager and data owners. The team is working agile in sprints where pair programming and other collaboration among developers are held high. This team is part of a European context and collaborates with many different teams spread over Europe. This makes English the main written language, even though all Ninja developers have Swedish as mother tongue. In this role you will have an impact on how much you want to work remotely.

Concretely this job is about:

Develop software that aims to meet the business goals and visions
Ensure delivery of services that meet performance, scalability and robustness requirements
Unit and integration tests for code and services produced
Take part in the overall strategy for IT development

You will be learning and teaching from and to your colleagues, and you will also be able to develop yourself in an enterprise company with a modern tech stack run on Java 11, Spring, REST APIs, AWS and Kubernetes. You will be able to see, understand and learn skills and processes that go beyond just coding.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role we believe you are a social team player, curious and explorative, and want to take part in continuous improvement of the way we work and evaluating tools in the scope of open source and larger communities to best support our needs and vision. We see creativity and problem solving as great advantages preferably combined with skills in some of these areas:

Backend development (preferably Java 11)
Microservices
CI/CD
NoSQL

Do you also have experience from Spring Boot, Kafka, Elastic Search, RabbitMQ and Angular, we will be thrilled!
