We are looking for a Software Developer to join a well-established verification team in the appealing town Karlskrona, just by the boarder of an archipelago with 600 islands. This is a distributed team where you will have a close collaboration and cooperation with your colleagues in India. We can offer you a flexible workplace with the privilege to work part-time outside the office and the office are the space where colleagues can meet physically and collaborate. The team adopts Agile ways of working, in which continuous improvement and innovation are practice in daily work. A learning and creative mentality is encouraged, as well empathy and humanness.

We believe testing is about having the right mentality! But there are some key abilities to become successful in the role. A good technical foundation, as new tools and technologies are to be conquered. Interest in Software Testing and Software Craftsmanship, as you will practice both manual nonfunctional testing and implement and monitor them in a CI/CD context. And finally, leaderships skills, being brave enough to take full responsibility for your area of tasks and personal development.

You will

• Focus on a nonfunctional test like performance, security, installation/upgrade etc., to be the quality gatekeeper for our customer deliveries

• Be responsible for test analysis, test case development, execution, troubleshooting, integration, verification of customer use cases, and product documentation

• Work with hands-on nonfunctional testing

• Work with automation of nonfunctional testing

• Doing your best to meet targets and the highest standards of quality

• Report to the R&D Line Manager

To be successful in the role you must have

• Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science

• Understanding of Test Methodology and Test Automation

• Experience in Linux environments and tools like Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

• Python skills

• A curious and active learning approach with an ability to learn quickly

• Ability to take personal responsibility driving and leading in specific areas

• Ability to identify, argue and drive improvements pushing both yourself and others for perfection
