The cloud-based communication platform, iotcomms.io, is a service developed by a cloud native Swedish start-up in the telecommunication and IoT space. We have an SaaS business model and deliver building blocks for alarm, voice & video services to industries such as Health & Social Care, Smart Buildings, Internet of Things, Unified Communication and Alarm Industries. The platform enables embedding of voice and video real time communication for mission critical applications that are developed using modern serverless and microservices patterns. Our vast experience in telecom and Internet technology makes us experts in the field of real time Internet communication.
In a world where more and more devices are connected to each other we bridge real time communications of voice and video so that things and humans can communicate. This is done by offering support for protocols such as SCAIP, SIP, SIPRec, WebRTC, RTP and higher level building blocks such as IVRs, recording functions, queues, DTMF events, and allow integration with other services via REST APIs and event mechanisms such as AWS, SNS, and SQS. Our platform is built for massive scale and robustness and we take advantage of today’s great tools for continuous deployment and test automation to let you focus on innovation and creativity.
You would be part of a true DevOps team, which means that you take part of the whole product lifecycle. From initial idea, implementation, and deployment to customer feedback. We work truly agile in the whole organization to let you focus on what matters.
Who are you:
- We provide our services as APIs, so you are interested in building services that scale massively providing functionality to our customers. Behind the APIs we deploy microservices using AWS Lambda functions or real time services deployed on docker containers.
- Enjoy working within the Amazon ecosystem and would like to stay up to date with their pace of innovation
- Like asynchronous programming and NodeJS in particular
- Prefer to use ReactJS for web application development
- Prefer CloudFormation templates over web console
- Get excited over spinning up hundreds of nodes and generating huge amounts of traffic.
- You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
