The newly established organization TV4 Media is a priority business area within TeliaCompany that places a lot of resources behind the development of next generation TV solutions. Is this your next opportunity?

We work in a large platform and develop new functionalities in microservices architecture as well as relentlessly refactoring older parts of the platform. Our apps are running on all major device platforms: web, mobile apps, tablets, Apple TV and other SmartTV platforms. Your team will be focusing on feature development for web clients and the foundation layer serving web and our other client platforms. Our main web technologies are React in the client and GraphQL on the server. You’ll work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment that has tight deadlines but with high team automaticity. We require high quality, creativity, and consistency but we trust the team to make the right decision to deliver.

Is this you?

We believe you are a strong JavaScript engineer that is comfortable working both client and server side. Experience with streaming is not a necessity, but it’s something you would like to focus on.

In the role as JavaScript engineer you will:

• Build gorgeous user interfaces by working closely with our UX designers, in order to ensure that our customers get best service in class
• Write well-tested and maintainable code that will serve millions of our customers
• Spread the engineering vision in your team, participate in product planning
• Mentor junior and fellow engineers to advance into more technical responsibility areas
• Drive product/code quality, security and performance improvements throughout team. Help to establish and maintain development standards and practices
