UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benefits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles require a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

• Experience as ETL Developer

• SQL: Knowledge of all types of joins, grouping and aggregation, unions, writing procedures and functions. Creating tables and views

• Experience in Data Migration Projects

• Experience with relational databases, data analysis and data conversions

Working language: English

Meriting competence

• Microsoft Excel knowledge

• Experience in ERP implementations

• Basic understanding of financial terms (for instance, what is debit/credit, chart of accounts, invoice, journal)

• Knowledge of SSIS

• Knowledge of C#

About the position

-The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for data analysis and database management.

Tasks:

-Define and modify IDMS database definitions (DDL).

-Define and modify physical structures (Segments, DMCL, DBtables).

-Perform database changes (restructure, unload/reload, etc.).

-Ensure that appropriate backup procedures are in place.

-Perform data recovery, including rollback and roll forward.

-Use online monitors to resolve run-time problems.

-Maintain security definitions.

-Migrate ADS and DC-COBOL programs to QA and production.

-Assist users with utilities (maintain index, print space, etc.).

-Maintain database-specific JCL and documentation.

Occasional overtime and on-call required.
