UX/UI Designer - Policy Business Unit

Our next UX/UI designer will support Voi’s Policy Business unit which has the purpose to address all the different city pain points in regarding to electric scooters, such as (but not limited to):

- Ensuring we maintain a good user experience when solving city problems
- Improve safety (for riders and non-riders) through product innovation
- Improve vehicle parking through product innovation

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As our next UX/UI designer at Voi you’ll get the opportunity to apply your design skills to create innovative design solutions that help cities to integrate micro-mobility in their transport mix

- Work with the team to understand user needs, city requirements and iterate through all stages of the UX/UI design process to deliver world-class user experiences
- Support developers during the delivery stage as well as following up with analysts and PMs to understand if the design had the intended outcome
- Contribute to new design initiatives that support the design team as a whole
- Work closely with the Head of UX, engineers, Product Managers and designers to prioritize work based on OKRs and identified user needs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK

- Being friendly and creative, and always curious to learn something new and try new things
- Comfortable with ambiguity and can work with several hypothesis in parallel
- Knowing how to separate the important from the superficial, and how to prioritize ruthlessly when needed
- A natural collaborator that can bring out the best in a diverse group of people
- Good ability to see the holistic, physical + digital experience of our customers, in order to emphasize with their needs and struggles
- Confident communicator, creating engagement and understanding through visual designs as well as written and orally

WHAT WILL SUPPORT YOU ALONG THE WAY

- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience across iOS, Android, and web
- Professional-level English
- Skilled in choosing the right tool for the job: whiteboarding, clickable wireframes or pixel-perfect designs
- Having worked closely with engineers and product managers
- Technical skills: User interviewing, wireframing, lo- and hifi prototyping, usability testing, presentations
- Skilled in any of Xd, Sketch, Figma or a similar tool
