Senior Software Engineer with Network DevOps Mindset

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Enable new capabilities and optimize efficiency of the existing and future tech-stack to ensure that we are building software defined network solutions to support next-gen core banking systems.
- Contribute in and using and integrating a pipeline for Infrastructure Automation to improve predictability in the network service deliveries.
- Contribute in identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements for network automation: automating manual processes, re-designing scalable network (CISCO ACI, Checkpoint F5, Hybrid DNS, Infoblox).
- Be a technical leader and active contributor in an autonomous, cross-functional team, on diverse infrastructure platforms which are heading towards a mix of public and private clouds and data centers.

What is needed in this role:
- Deep hands-on experience on leading the design, development and deployment of software defined network at scale, working with Virtualization, Data Center, and Security.
- Implementation focus should be based on non-functional requirements such as availability, flexibility, stability, maintainability and security.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, ops automation, and configuration management tools.
- You embrace learning opportunities and are not afraid to go out of your comfort zone.
- A university degree in computer science, information-technology, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to seek opportunities, investment areas and/or strategic ways forward when it comes to automation.

It is an advantage if you have:

- CI/CD experience including Bitbucket, Jenkins Terraform, Consul or other similar CI/CD tools and platforms
- Experience with container related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Experience with scripting (e.g. Shell, Python, PowerShell)
- Knowledge regarding ServiceNow and ITSM
