As a DevOps engineer, you, together with the existing staff and consultants, will ensure that development, testing and releases can take place quickly, frequently and in the most reliable and efficient way. The team members are located in four countries: China, India, Canada and Sweden. Meetings are conducted using Microsoft Teams and the team is responsible to provide users support 24/7, via the follow the sun principle. The assignment is completely location independent and is planned to start ASAP.

Individuals supplied must integrate with the “ways of working” and pass security requirements assigned by the company.

We are looking for three people who are independent, thorough, creative and responsible with a great interest in the IT / computer industry, who will thrive in a guiding and advisory role. We want you to have at least 3 years of experience from work with software development and IT operations.

We are looking for you who:
- Have experience of programming in GO or Java.
- Have knowledge of Kubernetes, Microservice architecture and Tracing technologies (Open Telemetry or Jaeger), as well as Networking protocols (HTTP and GRPC).
- Have ability to safely operate and maintain databases (Postgres, etcd, Cassandra/Scylla, Kafka, Elasticsearch).
- Have Debugging & troubleshooting abilities.
- Is fluent in English as the communication and terminology are in English.
- Have readiness to take part in a 24x7 support rotation, including on-call during weekends.
- Have readiness to occasional video conferences outside regular work hours to meet the rest of the team in China, India and Canada.
