Our Exciting Opportunity


You will work in Karlskrona within the development organization for Operations Support Systems (OSS) within Business Unit Digital Services. Our responsibility in Karlskrona is the development of products within the Provisioning and Activation area, i.e. activation of Subscribers, Services and Resources. Currently, we have ~400 installations worldwide and our products serve over 2 billion users. You will be at the forefront of Ericsson’s 5G core development enabled by a Cloud Native architecture. We use technologies like Java, Scala, AKKA, Cassandra, OpenStack, Docker and Kubernetes, and development is done according to Agile principles in multi-functional self-organized teams with typically 5-7 Developers. The cornerstones in our development include a very high level of test automation, continuous integration and daily deliveries in a DevOps approach. Our organization is, due to its moderate size, very familiar and has short decision paths.


You will


• Drive strategic technical leadership in the provisioning and activation domain

• Drive studies to analyze and manage requirements for solutions for activation and provisioning with a focus on 5G

• Drive studies in both functional and non-functional areas

• Drive continuous improvements in products and processes

• Develop competence in the technical domain

• Report to Product Development Leader


To be successful in the role you must have


• BSc or MSc or similar in telco relevant area (development)

• Knowledge in programming languages: Java, Scala, Python

• Cassandra database knowledge is a bonus

• Knowledge in Cloud-Native and Kubernetes

• Working experience in the area > 5 years

• Good collaboration skills as we want great teammates

• Knowledge and experience in Agile work methods
