User Experience as a discipline is a key part of Volvo Cars' strategy and a newly formed UX organisation will help gather insights about our user's and redefine and elevate the users experience of Volvo's products and Services. We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to expand our Mobile UX team.
Main responsibilities include:
As a Visual Designer on the Mobile Platform team, you will work on defining the visual language of products and systems that help improve the ownership experience for our customers at Volvo. Your responsibility will include delivering key design artefacts, such as production ready designs, guidelines on their usage, assets, animations and prototypes that creates delightful experiences that solves customer and business needs. You will collaborate with other designers and ensure a seamless customer experience across Volvo’s digital landscape. As a designer you advocate for the user, you will develop a deep understanding of our customer needs and painpoints. Senior Visual Designer - Mobile UX 2 As an expert in visual design you'll also be an internal thought-leader on best practices, tools and trends.

Who you are:
* You’ve been designing for 6+ years for a consumer-focused tech company, so you understand what it takes to create delightful consumer experiences.
* You are a versatile designer who uses a full range of skills— visual design, prototyping, motion design and interaction design — to ensure you deliver magical experiences to the customer.
* You have excellent visual design skills and deep knowledge of creative tools such as Figma and Adobe CC suite. Prototyping tools such as Principal, Origami or Framer are a plus.
* You have a strong understanding of building and maintaining design systems.
* You meticulously understand platform guidelines such as Apple's HIG and Google's Material Design, and stay up to speed with their latest developments.
* You've built and maintained design systems consumed by Designers and Engineers across an organisation.
* You are a strong collaborator, who can work with not only design partners, but many other stakeholders from marketing to engineering. You have strong communication and presentation skills that allows you discuss and present ideas.
* You have a people-focused design mentality. Constantly looking to hone your design instinct through user feedback.
