BI DEVELOPER-(Malmö)/Remote

The customer has launched a project to integrate Power BI (a component of Microsoft 365) across the firm. The project is scheduled to operate from March 2021 until January 2023. As part of the work on this project, the Customer is searching for a consultant who can provide specialist experience in the technological platform that will serve as the foundation for implementation to the project organisation.

There are three major phases of the project:

Vision/Objectives/Analysis of the Current Situation

Departmental On-Boarding

Establishment of a management model - Goal achievement and value creation

This assignment is mostly concerned with work in phase 2.

Web, app, or other software development, testing, and troubleshooting Assignments in system management may also be included.

The consultant will provide competent consulting help to the Customer in the appropriate area of expertise. This largely entails producing Power-BI reports based on business needs, testing and quality assurance, and documenting generated Reports in collaboration with the rest of the BI team. Participation in workshops with the company is an expected element of the job. The process may also entail the consultant gathering data from external data sources and modeling data in Power BI.

To complete the job, the customer notices that the consultant has the following qualifications:

We are searching for an experienced consultant that can work successfully in a small, cohesive team while still working independently and solution-oriented with specified activities.

We place a premium on effective communication abilities. It is critical to be able to convey technically complex concepts in a pedagogical and understandable manner to a non-technical business person.

We presume that the consultant is knowledgeable and experienced in getting data from other systems. Technical breadth is required here, for example, whether integration occurs from external source systems via leftover APIs or from internal systems where SQL calls may be used to a larger extent.

We presume the consultant is well-versed in Microsoft's cloud solutions:

Furthermore, it is preferable that the consultant be familiar with:

The real estate sector, in terms of both financial and technical management

The real estate industry's standard system

Power Platform in general, and Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse in particular need the consultant to be on-site one day per week at the Malmö office; the remainder of the work may be done remotely.
