To support future growth and drive the data & ML transformation at Lendo, we are currently looking to strengthen our small Data & ML team with a Data scientist/engineer. You likely have some years of experience within both machine learning and data engineering, and are motivated for a role where you can keep developing and utilizing these skills, and become a key player in driving further growth.
In this role, you will:

Design, build, deploy and maintain state of the art machine learning models that support strategic ML use cases across all Lendo markets

Design, build and maintain data pipelines, following software engineering best practices, to secure that complete and correct data is transferred to our data warehouse

Use state of the art technologies to acquire, ingest and transform internal and external datasets

Work with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.)

Maintain and improve overall architecture of data flow systems

Use relevant monitoring for detecting errors as well as improve existing codebase

Participate the company-wide effort of using best practises when coding
We believe you have some of these qualities:

Education in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field

Confirmed experience building, deploying and maintaining ML models and data pipelines in production environments

Knowledge of software engineering concepts and best practises

Fluent in writing clean, maintainable and robust code in Python and SQL

Results driven with proven ability to create business value

Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills

Collaborative team player, capable of working well with others but also autonomously with little direction
