About the job
As a software developer/ engineer you will work with all steps in the development process, for example with analysis of needs, design, implementation, testing and verification and validation. You will work with the software that controls our instruments, plan experiments and analyzes results. This includes numerical analysis and statistics. The tasks include development of future products, but also maintenance and management of existing systems. The work is mainly done in teams and you have contacts with most departments in the company including our customers.
Who we are looking for
We believe that you have a university degree as a civil engineer, computer scientist or systems scientist. You have at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in the area of Life Science where you worked with the development of Medical Devices or analytical instruments. It is an advantage if you worked with instrument control at lower levels, but as a developer at GPT you can work with all layers of the software. We use the following languages / tools, among others, and it is an advantage if you have worked with some of them, C ++ and C #, are a requirement.

You express yourself well in both Swedish and English and you have the ability to see context, and enjoy problem solving. If you have a great technical interest and quality focus, analytical skills and if you are communicative and social, you are the one we are looking for.
