Fullstack Engineer

Kive is on a mission to give creatives superpowers by building innovative tools that make creative work fast, fun and collaborative. As an engineer, you'll make some of the most important decisions and contributions for the company as you help engineer the new solutions that will add value to our users and expand the platform. This requires curiosity, boldness, speed and an appetite for experimentation. You'll be part of a tightly knit core team, early in the life of the company and you'll have a significant influence on the direction of the product, technology, culture and methodology.

What you'll do

• Write clean, robust, and maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping
• Develop and operate the web application and highly scalable cloud computing infrastructure
• Play and experiment, suggest ideas on what to build next to elevate the user experience and build it
• Launch/lead initiatives to address problems and opportunities in the product
• Contribute to the engineering principles, practices and ways we work together
• Help envision the future of creativity and drive the vision, strategy, team, culture and product

Who you are

• You are passionate about technology and innovation
• You have worked 3+ years in an engineering team, and probably have a degree in an engineering field
• Are proficient in JS (ideally TS too), know your way around React and Node.
• You are a self-starter and problem-solver with a track record of taking initiative.
• You have a get-things-done mindset and get energy from solving complex problems.
• You are an eager learner and your curiosity leads you to constantly explore and learn new things.
• Plus if you have worked on passion projects from time to time.
