As a UX Researcher within the Markets product area, you will work in a cross-functional team including designers, engineers, and product managers who are passionate about creating a great experience for our patients and physical therapists. We put our users first, and let insights and data inform our work.

You will have the support of fellow Joint Academy designers with expertise within product and service design, UX research and UX writing. This is a platform for exchanging ideas, seeking feedback, growing as an individual and developing the discipline within the organisation.

This is what you will do:

  • Collaborate with product teams to identify and resolve product gaps e.g. identify user frustrations, attitudes, drivers, and behaviors relevant to set a strategic direction
  • Conduct end to end qualitative research (primarily using online tools) to understand user needs and emerging opportunities
  • Plan usability studies, questionnaires, screeners, and discussion guides including samples, data analysis/synthesis, and any eventual reporting
  • Lead moderated and unmoderated user studies, surveys and in-depth interviews adapting methodologies and experimenting with new approaches
  • Present findings and deliver insights to product stakeholders in a structured way
  • Ensure all research studies are methodologically sound

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience within UX Research for digital products.
  • Proficiency in research methodology, showing a strong understanding of the strengths and limitations of different methods and how and when to apply them.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to craft actionable and unbiased recommendations.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods to evaluate user behavior
  • Ability to deliver user insights in a digestible way within specific deadlines.
  • Interest in strategic research and proactively suggest and drive research projects that help align user and business goals in the company
  • Interest in storytelling as a way to clarify the connection between user and business goals
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Familiarity with working in agile projects with cross-functional teams

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in working with users across multiple countries to gain and analyze different cultural and behavioural insights when interacting with a product
  • Conducted research in French and/or German
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel, Optimizely and Tableau to fetch and analyze data
  • Worked with multi variant testing
  • Previous experience from the healthcare sector
  • Experience with Inclusive user research
