Analytical Engineer, Common Data Warehouse - Marketplaces
Contribute to building a state-of-the-art common data platform
The Analytical Foundations team is looking for an experienced engineer to help us design and build the Common Analytics Model (CAM). The goal of the CAM is to create an Aligned and Federated data model source based on varied data across Schibsted’s 45+ brands.
This role will be central in realizing our vision: “Enable all the people in Schibsted to leverage any data in Schibsted”. This position is for the Marketplaces extension Team, supporting Schibsted brands like bilbasen.dk, blocket.se, dba.dk, finn.no and tori.fi.
As an analytical engineer in our CDW - Marketplaces Team, you will have two areas of responsibility. (1) You will create and maintain a high-performance robust data model that materializes the cross-brand common data model in Schibsted. And (2) collaborate with analysts and other data consumers across Schibsted and iterate to mirror the business and user behaviour in the Common Analytics model.
To succeed in the role you will have to effectively collaborate with analysts, BI developers, and other Data consumers, and others from across Schibsted Marketplaces.

You will be working with a modern cloud-based tech stack:

Data exploration and processing pipelines in Databricks (PySpark)

Data Modeling tooling like Data Build Tools

User-facing data in Snowflake and Tableau

CI/CD and infra management using GitHub, TravisCI, Terraform etc.
