As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, our SDK Platform Area is looking for an inspiring QA Engineer with a great deal of experience in automated testing as well as requirement analysis combined with a truly Agile mindset.

In this role, you will collaborate with a wide spectrum of people including developers, designers, and product managers with the shared ambition to take the quality of Zettle's products to a whole new level.

Part of our Money Alliance, the SDK Platform Area has for core mission to provide a flawless integration experience enabling 3rd party developers to easily offer payments with Zettle. Furthermore, with a best practice foundation to add and expose features through the SDK, we have for objective to help other teams across Zettle to smoothly reach their ambitions,

A glimpse of what you will be doing

Simply stated, you will be involved in all the initiatives related to Quality and Test Automation within our Area. In this spirit, your role will notably consist consist in helping developers to be more and more autonomous in delivering high-quality standards every step of the way up to production. From requirements based testing to exploratory and automated testing of iOS and Android platforms — You will have the opportunity to do it all!

With that in mind and without being exhaustive, some key facets of your day-to-day will include:

• Driving the quality work in the teams.
• Taking care of the requirement analysis for testability of products.
• Facilitating a better-shared understanding across the teams.
• Managing release testing on different devices.
• Handling exploratory, usability and functional testing.
• Creating & maintaining automated test cases & test automation set up.
• Investigating bugs and supporting tickets.
• Collaboration with bright peers across Zettle's QA Chapter.

The skills to succeed

In an ideal world, you take pride in having a proven experience and a genuine passion for testing and requirement analysis combined with an inner talent for exploring and creating new solutions to problems. Beside, bonus points if you are experienced in coaching and mentoring developers on how to set a quality first engineering culture within their work.

We're also looking for someone who has an experience and interest in:

• Solid experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile products.
• Have an opportunity to set the ways of working and vision together with other team members for our SDK.
• Good analytical skills with a solid understanding of product development, underlying system architecture and user requirements.
• Solid experience in planning, designing, and executing tests and user scenarios through manual and automated means on mobile apps on various devices.
• Solid experience in using test automation tools for mobile apps. We are currently using XCTest/Espresso for iOS/Android and Selenium today but are open to new ideas.
• Experience from Agile software development
• Understanding of the build and delivery processes for iOS/Android apps
• Good knowledge of Git, Github, ADB and Jira.
• Basic knowledge of Splunk or any other data platform tool, Android Studio, Xcode, TestFlight.
