About Group IT
Swedbank Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.
The division Swedish Banking within Swedbank Group IT handles the development and maintenance of the Internet Bank, Mobile Bank, Intranet applications, Framework and Security.
Swedbank is increasing IT investments, therefore we are recruiting in order to meet this IT development demand. The project/maintenance portfolio is interesting and spread over a variety of areas but we are now mainly working with our new Internet Bank, based on the latest web technologies.
We are located in Swedbank Labs in Sundbyberg, where business and IT work close together in a creative and fast moving environment. We are running most of our projects with agile/scrum approach.
About the job
Swedish Banking IT is now looking for more Java developers to join our teams.
As a Java developer you shall identify and relive problems on both a technical and application level, provide improvements and also take part in Swedbank development projects. You will be working with both development and maintenance.
This is the opportunity for a java developer to make impact and create great value to our end customers. The latest year we created a digital platform for our new, web based, internet bank and the coming years we will continue to develop and maintain both the platform and the functionality on it.
As a Java developer you need to be open and development-oriented. You have the ability to see the big picture i.e. have strategically thinking in combination with operational competence according to identified needs. You are analytical and structured and have the ability to express yourself well both in speech and writing. You are an efficient problem solver and a team-player.
You are the one we are looking for if you;
* Have experience of proactive system maintenance and development projects
* Have at least 3 years of experience of Java/Web development of which at least 2 years with J2EE
* Are familiar with Unix
* Have experience of application servers
* Have experience of JSP, JSF and HTML
* Rest and JSON
* Frameworks (Angular JS)
* Have experience in test frameworks (Jasmine/Karma)
* Are fluent in the Swedish and English language
