Head of UX

Voi is now looking for a leader to guide and support our top-talent designers in their work, and to drive a customer-centric vision of the UX across the product development organisation. The role is preferably based in Stockholm.

YOUR MISSION AT VOI/WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

- As the Head of UX at Voi we expect you to build a vision for the overall UX and then engage the whole organisation around it.
- Owning the whole user experience from first contact to recurring use of our offer, in order to improve our business metrics while at the same time make sure we are top-of-the-class in terms of ease of use and customer-centricity
- Lead and coach the designers on an individual basis to build out their toolbox and promote user-centric ways of working
- Take ownership of a shared, company-wide, vision for the experience of the app in combination with hardware, and communicate it across the product development organisation
- Work closely with the team and stakeholders to prioritize work based on OKRs and identified user needs.
- Being responsible for promoting Voi as a good place to work for designers, thus attracting and retaining the top-level designers needed to make Voi get ahead in the micromobility race.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK

- Able to build trust with the designers and other stakeholders, and get a good grasp of how work happens within the organisation and where critical places of influence are
- A natural collaborator that can bring out the best in a diverse group of people
- Good ability to see the holistic, physical + digital experience of our customers, in order to emphasize with their needs and struggles
- Great communicator, creating engagement and understanding through visual designs as well as written and orally.

WHAT WILL SUPPORT YOU ALONG THE WAY

- 5+ years of experience from UX design leadership in a variety of contexts and ways of working
- Skilled in higher-level design frameworks such as design thinking and jobs to be done
- Demonstrated experience from coaching designers and growing the influence of design in an organisation
- Having collaborated extensively with engineering, product and HR in previous roles
- Experience from low-engagement, customer-facing apps is a plus.
