Data Scientist

The Autonomous Drive, Data Analytics and Methods team is responsible for securing safe functions for autonomous driving by developing data science methods to develop new techniques to analyse autonomous driving data to extract novel information that describes what has happened during real world drives. We will explore new verification and validation concepts to show that the self-driving function is safe.

We are now looking for a senior data scientist.

Who you are.

You have experience of braking down a big scope within data science to understand the necessary steps to develop methods for doing automated analysis of large amounts of data and implementing these techniques into useful code and presenting the analysis results.

You have a proven work experience of project development and deployment within the industry in the data science area. Have in-depth knowledge and skills in both theory and practice of machine learning, data mining, algorithm design, applied statistics, and pattern recognition. Moreover, demonstrate competence in tackling complex analytical problems, show passion to create prototype systems and transform the proof of concept to production.

Strong academic background related to machine learning and data mining, including machine learning algorithms, graph theory, numerical optimization and statistical modeling. Update-to-date knowledge in deep learning such as self-supervised learning and graph neural networks

Strong programming skills (Python, R, C++ etc.), and big data processing framework (e.g. Hadoop, ) are preferred.

We believe that you have a drive to learn continuously and are flexible to broaden your experience to fit the agile way of working. You probably have a M.Sc. degree or higher. Good knowledge in English language both spoken and written, as well as a driver’s license (B), is required for the role.
