UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

- Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science (or equivalent)

-Skilled in C++ development and good in Java development

-Some years experience of Android development (below app level)

-Knowledge of Android platform

-Linux development

-Fluent in written and spoken English

Meritous:

-Experience in audio, multimedia areas is an advantage

-Communicative, enjoy working in teams where you interact and support colleagues locally and globally

About the position

- Working as a senior software developer for the Audio/Multimedia team within the Mobile software organization in Lund.

-The team’s main responsibility is to secure bring-up, stability and quality of new Android OS version releases for Xperia i.e. within Audio and Multimedia area.

-Currently we are working on Android 12 (S-OSV) and have internally started discussion related to the next Android OS version upgrade.

- When needed and possible the team support our counterpart team in Tokyo (asset owners). The team could also support other teams and areas within Lund SW when it makes sense.
