Mission of the Reliability team
We believe that reliability is more than just strong design. We believe that reliability should be woven into our culture and the mindset of all our teams: having a reliable product strengthens trust in Schibsted and the quality of our products.
As part of the reliability team you will plan our reliability journey by determining what is appropriate for the business and our product. You will influence our architecture, our processes, our culture, and our mindsets. You will empower our developers to move faster whilst still improving our product reliability.
What you'll do
- Work as an expert in our Identity provider domain, and act as key advisor to our teams and leaders
- Influence how we can innovate in our domain to build a revolutionary & globally scalable identity provider
- Perform design, development and support of existing and new products
- Develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product
- Work with domain, product management and product engineering teams in the solution engineering efforts
- Define product validation policies so as to deliver products that meet system and project expectations
- Assist product teams with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge
- Shape the Product Architect role and responsibilities, and choose the tools that help you best do the job
Some of the things you will work with
Schibsted Account is built on Scala, Kotlin, JavaScript, and has legacy services in PHP; with most new development being completed in Kotlin and JavaScript. We are in AWS and use Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for our infrastructure as code, and utilise Schibsted’s centralised developer tooling.

- Stockholm or Oslo
- Where are your colleagues based? Today we have team members based in Kraków, Stockholm, Oslo, Gdansk, and Kramfors

Areas of responsibilities include data & technology strategy, privacy/data trends/responsible data & machine learning, information security and internal IT.
