Senior Web Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer with an eye for design to bring our website and online store to the next level. Tibber.com is currently launched in Sweden, Norway, and Germany – ready to take on more markets.

Tibber is the first fully digital energy company in the world. We choose not to make money on our customer's consumption, we much rather help them lower it which is pretty "out there" being an energy company – it shouldn't. We’re the only energy company with the mission to reduce residential energy consumption in Europe by 20%. We’re constantly challenging the “dinosaurs” in the market by using new technology and fresh ideas.

Starting out with two passionate founders in 2016, we're now 160 people working at Tibber, and with that very number growing each week, we’re still just getting started. Our growth rate has been truly amazing and we are now helping over 200.000 customers to reduce their energy consumption in four different markets. With hundreds of thousands of controllable and smart devices connected to the Tibber platform (like electric vehicles and smart thermostats), we have one of the most unique and flexible consumption portfolios trading energy and flexibility on the market.

About The Job 👩🏻‍💻

You will belong to our brilliant and skilled Web Core squad and will work closely with our web developers. You will take part in developing our current platform that utilises modern technologies such as React/Vue and Next.

You will need to have a good eye for details and understand the web performance aspects when building components and functionalities – tibber.com is the first thing our users will experience, and now when entering new markets we want to make sure it's top-notch!

While your main responsibilities would be the site you will also get to dabble with our fantastic Tibber store. It’s one of the biggest online stores within the smart home category in the Nordics, and we will trust you to make it even better.

Who you are

• You're a curious and experienced developer with an exploratory mindset.
• You have several years of experience within JavaScript, and preferably with React/Vue.
• You're confident to work in a team, but you also feel comfortable taking initiatives on your own.
• It is of great importance that you're a person that has an eye for details both visually and when it comes to coding.
• As the entire Tibber team is spread across four countries we see it important that you have good communication and self organising skills.
• You're not afraid to speak your mind, at Tibber we embrace new and fresh ideas!
• With a great passion for web/front-end development, IoT, and doing something for a greater cause, you would love to take on the task of building something great together. And like the rest of your future colleagues, you will always put the customer first.
