Description

The client is now looking for a Data Engineer.

Work tasks:

- Work with existing team and stake holders that consume Qlik platform to understand data/integrations to transform the solution to Azure Stack.
- Collaborate with other engineers and specialists in building data-driven solutions that have laser-focus on business problems and our customers
- Build products in a varied of technologies and with varied focus (reporting, self-service analytics, large-scale data processing)
- Be a champion of DevOps mindset and principles, which emphasizes automation, continuous integration, and end-to-end ownership of solutions
- Use your expertise and creativity to solve problems using modern technologies and software engineering, in the areas of data quality, testing, deployment and monitoring

Mandatory competence and experience:

- SAS(DAX), SSMS, SQL, ADF, Azure studio, Azure synapse, Databricks and SQL
- 3+ years’ experience of designing, development and testing in the field of Data & Analytics
- Experience in Azure cloud tech-stack
- Experience in Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark)
- Experience in Big Data file formats (e.g. Parquet)
- Experience in object-oriented programming languages (Python)

Preferred competence and experience:

- Solid understanding of Data Modelling. Experience in modelling and developing tabular cubes, SSAS. Experience also in composite models is a plus.
- Experiences in working with Power BI is a bonus

- Is triggered by developing and designing the next generation data- and analytics-solution with focus on enabling smart self-service capabilities
- Be a champion of DevOps mindset and principles, which emphasizes automation, continuous integration, and end-to-end ownership of solutions
- Want to work in a small, smart, agile team - designing, developing, and owning the full solution
- Is motivated by analyzing and understanding the business needs, translating it to technical solutions, assuring that both business- and technical-needs are met
- Have skills to work with structure and independently.
- Ability to listen and communicate with other team members.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Passion for people and technology
