We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer who will be responsible to oversee our AWS infrastructure and make sure we have a clean, secure, scalable and optimized cloud infrastructure as well as smooth deployments through pipelines built on different tools.

Who we are

Swiftcourt is made up of an adventurous team, with one goal in mind: simplifying peer-to-peer business. We believe that anyone, anywhere should be able to safely make transactions with.. well, anyone anywhere! And we achieve this by offering a platform that makes the most complex transaction smooth as a pancake for the end user, by connecting smart digital sales contracts and transaction related services such as insurance and secure escrow payments.

Our customer base ranges from market-leading marketplaces across Europe looking to increase their value proposition, to private users wanting to get ahead of the curve when it comes to making smart and safe deals. All in all, we’ve already helped 980,000+ users and achieved a mindblowing review score of 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot, making us the most liked legal tech company in the Nordics. Now, we’re looking to add another zero to that user number, and another 0.3 points to our trust score. That’s where you come in!

What we can offer you

What you’ll do

Replacing our beloved SRE Mattias who is moving on to new adventures, your job will be to manage our AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure to meet the needs of all stakeholders, in a changing and fast-paced environment. A high degree of automation is provided in CI/CD pipelines managed by you, and enables developers to deploy to various test, staging, and production environments. Tooling to monitor applications is also part of the infrastructure provided and part of your responsibility.

At Swiftcourt, we love to automate and optimize to make our work as efficient as possible, and as free from human error as… humanly... possible. With the groundwork of our infrastructure already built, you’ll join our team at the best time; the time where it’s all about making our current systems even better. Working closely with our head architect, we’ll expect you to keep up with new innovation and best practice, voice your opinion, and help us to improve our way of working every day. In exchange, you’ll get a lot of freedom to try new things, learn on the job, and make a real difference both for yourself and your colleagues.

Who you’ll work with

At Swiftcourt you’ll join a small, eager, and creative team that works hard but plays even harder! Check out our team page to learn more about the amazing people of Swiftcourt.

What you can offer us

Who we think you are

You’ve worked at a startup before and know what it’s like to work in a fast-paced environment where what’s considered top priority can differ greatly from one month, week, or even day to another. You enjoy “wearing different hats”, i.e. taking on tasks of varying nature, and are a true team player. From planning to production – you have experience in starting up projects and seeing them through.

We think that you identify with the following:

  • A self-starter who takes pride in your work and ownership of your deliverables
  • A pacesetter ready to try new ideas, fail, and still dare to try again
  • A braveheart who dares to voice your own opinion but also listen to other’s and admit when you’re wrong

What we need you to know

  • Broad AWS knowledge but with a focus on compute services (EKS, EC2)
  • Experience in working with containerization infrastructures; Docker and Kubernetes to create micro-service architecture
  • Experience of building and managing CI/CD pipelines based on GitFlow using Github Actions or similar
  • SRE mindset using Infrastructure As Code ( for example Cloudformation) and extreme automation
  • As it’s our company language, you can write and speak English on a high level

Psst! You get bonus points for…

  • Experience in working with event-based systems such as RabbitMQ (even better with Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ )
  • Experience in working with data Lake services/tools such as Glue, S3, EMR, Kinesis, and Athena
  • Experience from monitoring of applications and infrastructure using Elastic ELK stack
  • Experience working with RDS or PostgreSQL

The position is full-time and our office is located in Malmö. However, we love flexibility as much in our work as we do in our platform. Therefore, remote work is not a problem, but we all try to be at the office at least 3 days a week to enhance cooperation.
