As a Java developer at CTIC, you'll be part of a team, but you'll collaborate with colleagues from other teams, local IT architects, and other departments as well. When seeking data from authorities and internal departments, the objective is to guarantee that the proper information is transferred to and from our SAS system.
Receiving business needs and converting them into development requirements, partially against one's own team and partly against other departments, is part of the job. You'll build and create APIs with the help of our SAS developers. This means that SAS environment experience is a plus, but not a necessary.
The bank uses an in-house built API framework (Minerva) that is based on Java Enterprise Edition and is used to develop all of the bank's apps. The initial step will be to familiarise yourself with and study this framework. Then there will be the task of teaching others.
