Senior Web developer
eBerry was established in 2016 as a subsidiary of the Nordic Choice Hospitality Group with the mission to transform the digital landscape for how our guests travel, book their stay and interact with us. Our ambition is high - we want to create the best customer experience within the hospitality industry by offering our guests a seamless and hassle-free travel experience. To deliver on this promise, we are building a team that will be in charge of all our customer-facing technology and development. Our amazing web team is now working on creating a new website that will be integrated with over 200 different hotels and help us accommodate more than 33,000 individual rooms. It is built to support and inspire tens of thousands of guests every year and based on the design philosophy of progressive enhancement, continuous delivery, continuous integration and a lot of fun!

What you will be doing:
As one of our Senior Web developers you will be part of a cross-functional team building customer-facing features for our web, both backend and frontend. Beside developers there are also UX-designers, QA-engineers and Product owners in the team. All working together to deliver the best possible experience. Together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for the development of Nordic Choice’s cutting-edge website. The workday will circulate around building scalable, digital applications and websites that support our customer’s digital journey and internal functions. Also, participate in code reviews, learning new things, and having fun with great colleagues!
The team works with a variety of technologies such as modern Javascript (ES6), Tailwind, Node.js, Koa.js, CI/CD and AWS.
Who we think you are:
We are looking for a team player who shares our passion for cutting-edge technology. In order to be comfortable in this role, you will need to have worked with web development and modern Javascript for some years. If you have previous experience working with Node.js, CI/CD, AWS or e-commerce that’s wonderful, but not a must. For us, what’s most important is that you value teamwork, have a positive attitude and love creating amazing solutions.
