System Developer

YOU WILL

As a System Developer in our team, you will be given a unique opportunity to shape and drive the early development of backend and/or data rich user interfaces for our production process, customer landing pages, distribution channels and device management.

We are in the process of digitalizing Elvaco and our customers by integrating our complete business and all our products into a microservices cloud platform. Together with the R&D-team and a set of skilled and committed colleagues you’ll be working closely with business product owners to develop value-adding digital services to our end-users. Your main tasks will be:

- software development, focus on new product development but also maintenance and problem solving.
- involvement in the whole product development process, from technical specifications and requirements to end testing.
- managing the collection of data from all our 100’s of thousands IoT products and partner systems ensuring security, scalability and redundancy.

- Linux

- JavaScript and React

- Kubernetes and Docker
- Big Data and timeseries data

YOU ARE

As a person you are a team player with a driven and positive attitude. You are responsible, analytical and have good problem-solving skills. You like an entrepreneurial, fast speed environment and have an open and flexible mindset. You are used to working in an agile team and are dedicated to test automation, code review and other quality-oriented practices. It is a plus if you are interested in working fullstack but focus on backend or frontend is also a possibility. Qualifications required to be successful in this position are:

- academic background within computer science, electronics or similar.
- several years’ experience in software development
- fluent in English and knowledge in Swedish is meritorious
- comfortable in using Linux, JavaScript, Node.js and TypeScript.
