Tasks and responsibilities:

In the position as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Tutus, you will hold an important and central function in the company working with embedded software testing. You will be responsible for testing the company’s various products for IT security to see if there are any errors or bugs and thus contribute to driving the development work forward.

You will primarily work with manual tests that are usually performed at the end of the development, but executing automated tests in some extent in parallel with the development. The Goal is to automate as much of manual tests as possible in future. Furthermore, you are involved in creating test cases with automated tests, which requires some scripting. As a QA-Engineer at Tutus, you are involved in the entire process, from requirements specification from the business to delivery of the product. You belong to a team of three others and participate in several projects parallel.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience working with test in various fields.
• Experience in Python
• Knowledge and understanding software testing
• Good communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English, written and oral
• Working knowledge with Jira, Confluence and Git

Merit:
• Knowledge or experience within Firewall, VPN, routers and Android OS
• Experience from embedded software testing
• Engineering degree
• ISTQB certification
